The Nursery is registered to recieve Nursery Education Grant (NEG) funding.

This enables each child from the term after their third birthday to receive 2.5 hours per session free, to a maximum of 5 x 2.5 hours per week.

As part of the NEG committment we have to provide satisfactory Nursery education for children of this age group by following the 'Foundation Stage' curriculum guidance provided by the Government.  We are also requested to be  knowledgable about and follow the framework guidance for children from birth to age three to make sure that we are providing for childrens development in all of the areas.  This framework is called 'Birth to Three Matters'.  

As you will have read earlier, the Nursery was inspected in July 2006 and was granted the top grading of 'Outstanding' for its Nursery Education.
